Funeral Celebrant Services

Helping families find healing through celebration of a life’s unique story.

We acknowledge that the grief accompanying the loss of a loved one is profound, and that saying goodbye is more than an event, it’s a journey.

As the first step in a family’s grief journey, we believe the funeral should be a meaningful and positively memorable experience for you and your loved ones rather than a daunting and sorrowful process. When done properly, a funeral can offer comfort and healing.

We serve you by creating a meaningful funeral or memorial service to honor your loved one in a way that celebrates their individuality and is responsive to your family’s needs.

We support families of all faiths and revere all walks of life. There is no limitation as to how one should be farewelled and we transcend the constructs of a traditional funeral service to reflect your loved one’s life path; their values and beliefs; their challenges and triumphs; eccentricities; and all that they cherished with authenticity.

Our Certified Funeral Celebrant leverages personal experience and professional training to thoughtfully produce and deliver the written and ceremonial aspects of a funeral service that give compassionate voice to your loved one’s story and speaks dutifully on your family’s behalf.

FAQ
What is a Funeral Celebrant?

A Celebrant is a professional practitioner who is trained and certified to meet the needs of families during their time of loss by providing a funeral service that is personalized to reflect the personality and lifestyle of their loved one. The Celebrant acts as a partner to the funeral director to create a funeral or memorial service that best suits the family and encourages healthy grieving.

Who needs a Funeral Celebrant?

Often times, Celebrants are called upon by families who identify themselves as “Spiritual But Not Religious;” families who do not have a minister or church affiliation; families who want a Life Tribute experience in addition to a faith-based or liturgical service.

Above all, we serve families who desire a unique, personalized service that brings meaning, bespoke ceremony and light to the traditional funeral experience.

Why Use a Certified Celebrant?

It is important that you and your family know that you are being served by someone who understands the process and is prepared to offer the highest degree of service with caring consideration and dignity. The training for Celebrants established by the InSight Institute seeks to provide the most comprehensive and sensitive training available.
